Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Private Banker to manage and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth clients in Abuja. The ideal candidate will deliver tailored financial solutions, ensuring exceptional service in line with our private banking value proposition. You will be responsible for deepening client relationships, driving revenue, and managing risk effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for private banking clients, offering personalized financial services aligned with their needs and expectations.
- Drive client acquisition, retention, and growth through strategic relationship management.
- Ensure disciplined credit and account portfolio management to minimize risks such as excesses, unauthorized overdrafts, and overdue reviews.
- Educate clients on the bank’s credit products (e.g., vehicle finance, home loans, overdrafts, personal loans, credit cards) and the required maintenance processes.
- Prepare and/or oversee the submission of high-quality credit applications and conduct timely credit reviews.
- Conduct financial analysis of clients’ profiles to uncover and pursue mutually beneficial sales opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer portfolios, banking products, and risk management protocols.
Qualifications
- A First Degree (BA/BSc/HND) from a recognized institution.
- 5–7 years of proven experience in financial services, particularly in sales, client relationship management, credit application, and financial planning.
