About the Program
Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) offers a structured postgraduate internship program as part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility and support for the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES). This initiative provides Nigerian students—both local and international—with hands-on industry experience in a professional environment.
The internship aims to help students deepen their technical knowledge, acquire new skills, and contribute meaningfully to real-world projects. Interns will be assigned to roles aligned with their field of study or research, working under the guidance of an experienced supervisor who will oversee their progress and professional development.
Participants will gain valuable insight into industry operations, benefit from mentorship opportunities, and learn directly from seasoned professionals across various departments.
Eligibility Criteria

Open to Nigerian students enrolled in postgraduate programs (Master’s, Doctorate, or postgraduate professional qualifications) at local or foreign institutions.

Candidates must be required to complete research and/or industry experience as part of their academic program.
Program Requirements

Applicants must provide a recommendation letter from their academic institution, to be submitted alongside their application.

Internship duration ranges from a minimum of 6 months to:

12 months for Master’s programs

24 months for Doctorate programs
